Privacy & compliance

Fully GDPR compliant — by design

e-ZeeInternet was rebuilt from the ground up to meet and exceed the requirements of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). You can install our tracker on any site in the EU without a cookie banner, without a Data Processing Agreement headache, and without ever touching personal data.

No cookies, no banner

We never set cookies or use any client-side persistent identifier. You don't need a consent banner for analytics.

No personal data

We do not collect IP addresses, names, emails, or any other PII from your visitors. Sessions are derived from a salted, daily-rotating hash that cannot be reversed.

EU data residency

All analytics events are processed and stored in the European Union. Data never leaves the EU and is never transferred to the US.

No cross-site tracking

Each tracker is fully isolated. We never combine data across sites or sell information to third parties.

What we collect — and what we don't

Collected (anonymous)

  • Page URL (path only, query stripped)
  • Referrer host (e.g. google.com)
  • Country (from IP, then IP discarded)
  • Browser & OS family
  • Screen size bucket
  • Daily-rotating session hash

Never collected

  • IP addresses (discarded after country lookup)
  • Cookies of any kind
  • LocalStorage or device fingerprints
  • Names, emails, or form contents
  • Cross-site identifiers
  • Data sold or shared with third parties

Your visitors' rights — and how we honour them

Because we never collect personal data, most GDPR rights are automatically satisfied — there is no profile to access, rectify, or erase. For your own account data, the dashboard exposes every right you'd expect:

  • Right to access — export all data tied to your account at any time
  • Right to rectification — edit account and tracker info from the dashboard
  • Right to erasure — delete your account and all data with one click
  • Right to portability — CSV + JSON exports of every event
  • Right to object — disable trackers immediately, no cooldown

Legal basis & DPA

Because the tracker stores no personal data and no device identifiers, no legal basis for processing personal data under GDPR Article 6 is required for the analytics flow itself. For account data (your email and billing info) we rely on the performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b)).

A Data Processing Agreement is available on request for any paid plan — in most cases you simply won't need one.
